Why does the programme work?
To optimise the success of the programme, I initially assess the way that your brain is uniquely wired through personality profiling and sensory modality assessments, before creating your customised toolkit of natural neuromodulation techniques.
I also ensure sustainable results in the long-term by using the following three pillars in my approach:
-
The “psychological” pillar is based on an evolutionary model to understand how your brain is likely to respond to certain stressors/environmental situations, and addresses what is going on in your mind, both at the conscious and subconscious level.
This includes clearing your head of any unnecessary burdens (such as worries) so that you are not constantly drained of mental energy, and also reframing negative thoughts into more constructive thinking patterns, so that you can develop mental clarity and focus.
The “psychological” pillar, therefore, selects techniques for your toolkit that create mental resilience to help you tackle head-on all the challenges that the outside world brings. -
This “physiological” pillar is based on nervous system state, in order to understand when you are likely to trigger the “fight or flight” response in your body. It thus addresses any chronic stress patterns that are having biochemical effects on your body.
This includes pre-empting, preventing and also disrupting any physical and psychological reaction to perceived threat.
Thus, you can train your nervous system to be responsive, i.e., ready and poised to tackle any event presented to you by the outside world.
Therefore, the “physiological” pillar selects techniques for your toolkit that generates a more balanced nervous system that can endure a fast-paced and demanding lifestyle. -
The “pragmatic” pillar is based on a neurolinguistic programming model, in order to ensure that any strategy chosen for your toolkit is practical and realistic. This means any natural neuromodulation technique chosen is achievable in a busy day-to-day routine.
Your bespoke toolkit of natural neuromodulation techniques activates successful cognitive load management via the following three C’s:
-
Proactively undertaking methods to reduce cognitive load and promote mental and physical restoration on a daily basis.
-
Ensuring your precious cognitive resources are being allocated in an optimal way, by reframing or removing unnecessary negativity; encouraging constructive thought patterns; and supporting efficient information processing.
-
Being watchful of your cognitive load, as well as both acknowledging and communicating your level of mental work.
You are now ready to respond to any challenge in your environment (internal or external). This includes any additional cognitive load imposed by your work or home environments. You also reduce the risk of experiencing mental and physical health problems, because you are able to control and moderate your responses to stressors.
